Miss Hagen V f T5 .. Mr. Daulton THE SENIOR CLASS INDUCTION. . . U S GRANT 38 - 39 The freshman year is always one of confusion and the members of this class found it true to form. Experiences such as those of different rooms for each class, lockers, etc., were new and added to the confusion. Other than these, though, the class noticed no great change from grade school life, but it certainly felt different to say, l'm in high school. REPLACEXVIENT. . . W H .Si 139 - '40 The sophomore year was one of sharp contrast to the freshman year, for the class was then en- rolled at W.H.S. Each member had a large part in making decisions concerning class activities. Despite the many interruptions. . .days missed because of lack of heat, insufficient water supply 7 the noise of construction . . . school life went on smoothly. The grand finale was a picnic at Roose- velt Lake. MANlfUVl3iRS. . . '40 - 41 The junior year was very interesting because there was always some kind of action. Early in the year, the class chose a ring and orders began to arrive in Ianuary. Next came the Iunior Play and various sales and drivesg later, another play, and finally the Iunior-Senior Prom with Hawaiian decorations and fried chicken. CALL T0 ACTION. . . '41 - '42 The goal . . . graduation . . . is in sight. Beyond that, a battle. The knowledge gained through maneuvers will be put to test. A real battle exists, not a sham with problems from books, but real, living problems to be solved. This battle is the battle of life. The seniors of '42 will meet the requirements. They will strive to preserve the ideals of delnoc- ratic living and make an all-out effort to uphold and defend the democratic form of government.
