But then, who Wouldn't? The meetings are so full of interest . . . Under the guidance of Miss Hazel I-landt and Mr. Walter Candy Cand Mrs. Ruth Reimann in the fallj, the programs were planned to give the members entertainment as well as to keep them up to date on current events. Should Milwaukee Approve Fluoridation? and Should Legislative Districts Be Based on Popu- lation or Area? were two of the important questions considered. Musi- cal selections and humorous quizzes were also offered . . . It is any Wonder, then, why Philo ranks so high with its members as they look back with pride on the accomplishments of the past year?

Baverly Bard That Lincoln Forensic Society lives up to its name may be shown by the fact that its members are proud to uphold its many traditions. Under the able direction of Misses Evelyn Purdy and Anna Porter, Lincolnites are brought up to date on public prob- lems, the society's main objective. A variety of programs keep the members interested and well informed. Panel discussions such as Is Television Bene- ficial to Modern Society?,' and The Effect of Movies on Us stir up heated and well-rounded arguments. But Lincolnites also enjoy barber shop quartets and solos by talented members, as well as a dash or two of humor in Lines of Fate, a humorous skit . . .
