This group, under the direc- tion of Miss Marjorie Nickel, strive for betterment of reading skills. Whafs in a Word? Study in word structure from prenxes to sufHXes introduces the students to important aspects of the English language. Delving deep into Mr. Webster,s rec- ords, from aardvark to zufielaack, pupils come out Well-stocked in vocabulary power. Also on the agenda is drill work on phonetics, a must', down the road to better reading. Special tests determine accuracy, While a SRA Reading Accelerator regulates speed.
