ADMINISTRATION PRINCIPAL Every newspaper has its editor-in-chief who keeps the paper running smoothly. Here at Washington Senior High School our editor-in-chiefi' is Mr. Garden E. Miniclier, principal. He keeps the edi- tionsi' of Prexies up-to-date by bringing in new ideas and procedures from his contacts on the St. Paul city-wide com- mittee and many summer and winter workshops. ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL The genial but efficient managing edi- tor at Washington is Mr. George Ifirkelyf, assistant principal. He helps cub re- porters stay in line and get their copy in on time, and even gives the veteran reporters a guiding hand at times. He also is active on city committees and in workshops, giving fresh ideas when they are needed in the school program. COUNSELORS Administrating tests to check students' abilities, progress, and interests is the main job of Washingtons' counselors, M iss Constance Howe and M r. jess Wichman. Through guidance towards scholarships they also give veteran Prexie reporters an assist in getting into specialized fields best suited to their talents.
