1-J QI P 'N A MR. DOLEN . Assistant Principal As ihe assisianl' principal of our school, Mr. Ray Dolen finds his role a busy one. Taking over rho posifion in lhe 'fall of l952, he has become a vilal parl of our adminisira- lion. He is respecied by bolh siudenis and iaculiy, and his inieresf in school affairs is shown by his membership in many school commiifees. He is chairman of bofh ihe Teacher-Subsiiiule and Evalualion Sieering Commiflees, and is a member of +he Assembly Commi+iee. Communily-wise, he is direclor of adull educafion, Vilally inleresied in sporls, Mr. Dolen officiaies al many college afhleiic evenls and is a member of our Aihlelic Board. MINICLIER Principal Mr. Gordon Miniclier, our principal, is successfully direcling The drama of high school life al Washinglon. He has been serving and guiding 'lhe sfudenfs here for seven years. He began his service af Washinglon as our guidance counselor in l946. In l95I he became our assisiani' principal and he has served as principal since I952. He has been a warm 'friend io sfudenls ai Washington and his 'friendly smile ofien rellecls his saiisfaclion when his cas+ oi siuden+s give a good performance. Mr. Miniclier is progressive in his educaiional ihinking and was recenlly recogniled as a leader in educaiion when he was asked fo head a seminar in guidance in a curriculum improvemenl' workshop al S+.
