CLASS MEMORIES On September 5 1950 105 freshmen entered the Oconto Falls Hugh School wuth a large amount of enthusuasm and wandered around gettung acquaunt ed After regaunung our senses we elected Dave Storzer as presudent Jocelyn Wessley vuce presu dent Pat Lewus secretary and Dorus Desreumaux to be our treasurer Stull rather new un school we presented the Columbus Day Program whuch was a bug success Homecomung was our Hrst chance to work on a truly large prouect We decorated up town the football fueld and made our float We Smell Algomas Defeat whuch won fnrst pruze Our Sophomore year Don Coopman was class Henne secretary and Maruon Erdman treasurer Our float We Expect Seymour to Drop In won us furst pruze un the annual Home omung Parade After choosung our style of rung we ordered them from Jostens Tom Bramschrneber was chosen uunuor class presu dent Dave Storzer vuce presuden Evelyn Seamon secretary and Pat Valentune treasurer Homecomung plans were started and we worked hard on the queens throne decoratung the gym makung the queen s float and our class float Well Toast the Ghosts won us furst pruze un the parade In the evenung we danced to the musuc of the ' Yellow Jackets orchestra whuch brought the 1952 Homecomung festuvutues to a close The long awauted day came and we got our class rings although we have them no longer Early un sprung our theme Sprungtume ln Parus was chosen for our uunuor prom Tom Bramscreuber crowned hus queen Yvonne Heum and everyone enuoyed dancung to the musuc of Larry Woodburys orchestra Our uunuor year came to a close and we looked back wuth satusfactuon The last year of our story at Oconto Falls Hugh School commenced by electung Don Seelung presu dent Elroy Peters vuce oresudent Pattu Cole secre tary and Elda Hessul treasurer Homecomung came very fast and agaun was a great success We ll Break the Record won us first pruze Kung Robert Ellner and Queen Jeanette Peterson reugned at the Homecomung dance The senuors got theur puctures taken ordered name cards chose class colors flower motto voted for class honors and DAR award We ordered our caps and gowns The gurls attend the Senuor Tea and one evenung the class got together for theur banquet Honors Day was held un the park and the senuors began to realuze theur hugh school days were uust about funushed Graduatuon whuch was looked for ward to untul the day arruved was followed by the senior trup whuch wull always be remembered Page Twenty eught I I ' . - ' I ' ' ' .
