As a high school graduate continues through life, he will not forget the thrilling ball games, the Student Council elections, the themes, research papers, and short stories, the Junior-Senior Prom, or the fun at a sum¬ mer picnic with friends. school life begins . . . starts. On the first day of school Carol Sparrow pays her book fee to Mr. Pritchard, her homeroom teacher. The lunchroom is always crowded with stu¬ dents from twelve until one o ' clock who are eating their lunch and conversing with one another.
