Oh, I kept the first tor another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted it I should ever come back. Row 2: Gagnon, Yelmene. ftllrtlofdl ew, At the annual Inkslingers' Ball on Ianuary 23, 1958, the new Neshotah News staff for 1958-59 was chosen. It was their job to put out tive issues a semes- ter or one every three weeks. The new editor-in-chief was Iirn Fanslau and the associate editor, Karen Kronzer. Serving under them as editors were Brough lones, news, Lynn Iindra, editorials, Ion Paulsen, features, Cyn Liebich, girls' sports, Tom Malkowski, boys' sports, and Sandy Heili, Circulation manager. Production of the school paper starts in the staff room and Miss Dur1ne's room and is then taken to the print shop. After the first copy is finished, it is proofread and then the presses start to roll. Without the assistance of the editorial advisor, Miss Mary Dunne, and the business advisor, Mr. A. H. Every day many girls give their time to work as nurses' aides at the Two Rivers Municipal Hospital. With Miss Sweetman as advisor, the girls receive valuable experience tor later nursing careers. The Future Teachers Club, led by president Sandy Heili and advised by Miss Gertrude Sweetman, gains many interesting facts about teaching by observing classroom activities. Guest speakers and movies also add to the FTA's programs. Nursing as a career is thoroughly studied in the Future Nurses Club. Under the supervision ot Miss Sweetman and their president Carol Deftusha, the club learns the duties and privi- leges ot a registered nurse, and other phases ot medicine. I k 1 A D Q- , t .
