Carl Meert is a bit bewildered about why his summer passed so quickly. Beth Yanko is happy to be back playing in the band. What ' s the matter Paula Greskowiak? Bad news? Reading is not one of Chris Ross ' favorite pass- times. Stephanie Crayton is distracted long enough from her class to have her picture taken. Senior Greg Gray reflects upon his years at Washington High School. Jeanne Sayer trying to look studious. It was that time of the year again. The time when students began rel- ishing every last minute of sleeping in and comb- ing the shopping malls for school supplies and clothes. Yet another sum- mer was behind us, and we were about to embark on a new school adven- ture. As in past years we would once again be en- joying sporting events, dances, and other activi- ties. But the new school year also brought about new faces and new poli- cies. One thing that didn ' t change was each student ' s determination to make this school the best it could possibly be.
