To some, the last day of school meant the beginning of a new life. The seniors of today will enter the job market, move away, or become freshmen all over again, but this time in college. To everyone else, that last day of school meant freedom at last — the closing of the books, shedding the school attire for short s and T-shirts, and saying good-bye once more to all those favorite and not-so-favorite teachers. It was summer! Summer was a time of rest and relaxation — lying on the hot, sunny beach, trying for that all-time tan. Fun and activities were everywhere. Riding bikes, playing tennis, going to parties, cruising, swimming, golfing, camping, fishing, and jogging were a few. You could go out with friends any day of the week with no ten o ' clock curfew. Just when life seemed to be carefree and easy, summer came to an end. It was time, once again to get back into the same old routine as last year. All year long, only one thing kept you going — your memories of last summer along with your thoughts of the great one ahead.
