Boys Have An Excellent Season The 1982 Boys ' Track team were Sec- tional Champions and was second in the N.I.C. with an 7-2 record. The team was lead by Seniors Tom Andrezjewski, Dennis Winters, Perry Sanders, Derrick Smith, Doug Fletcher, Skip Kalmar, Paul Dashner, and Pat Klaybor. Individual winners in the Sectionals were Tom Andrezjewski — Pole Vault, Lonnie Powell — 400 meter dash. Derrick Smith, Johnnye Love, Doug Fletch- er, and Lonnie Powell — 1600 meter relay team. M. v. Girls Off And Running The 1982 Girls Track team was lead by many outstanding girls. Coached by Miss Mar- cia Magnuson, the team had a 4-6 record. The team placed forth in the Sectionals and fifth in the Princess Relays. Junior, Kim Kilgore earned her place on the first team, All-Confer- ence team, in the longjump. Senior, Jenny Maenhout placed first in the discus at the city and Sectional meets. Named to the second team. All Conference, were the 1600 mile Re- lay, Aslisia Rodgers, Dana Jenkins, Darlene Kelley, and Theressa Watkins. M.V.P. was Dana Jenkins and Jenny Maenhout, and Connie Williams received the Mental Attitude award. Above: Coach Magnuson. Below. The team gets in some running during practice. Girls Tennis Have A Trying Season The Girls Tennis team was coached by Ann Dodd, and had a 6-9 record. The team was helped by Seniors, Beth McGowan, Kelli Groves, and Sharyl Zwierzynski. Captains of the team were Beth McGowan and Sharyl Zwierzynski. The team was also paced by Fran Ginter, Chris Harley, Cheryl Early, Lori Leckac- zyk, Mary Butiste, Lisa Borrelli, Sharon Bonek, Anna Critchlow, and Jeanne Kowalski. Also on the team was, Sigrid Bettinger, a Foreign Exchange Student from Germany. M. V.P. was Sharyl Zwier- zynski, Chris Harley received the Sports- manship Award, and Most Improved went to Cheryl Early. Sharyl Zwiezynski earned the Kiwanis Award.
