Home Economics The training of future homemakers is considered a very serious part of education here at Washington. Not only girls, but recently an acknowledgeable number of boys are enrolled in such courses as foods and family living. Our Home Economics Department is not limited, however, to these two fields. Classes of marketing, clothing and tailor- ing also meet daily. 5 r rw X' Business Business Education prepares students for future careers and provides an opportunity to gain information relating to commerce. Our Business Department is concerned with accomplishing two maior objectives, proper training in vocational education and proper training in general edu- cation. The Business Department offers a variety of courses ranging from Typing to Shorthand to Business Communications. lt is a training center for the college- bound student, the prospective secretary, and the various office staffers of tomorrow.
