Mathematics The modern world in which we are living is con- stantly changing and demanding more of each of us. Mathematics is a vital part of this growth. Through our studies in High School Arithmetic, Algebra, Trade Mathematics, Geometry, Trigo- nometry and Calculus, we not only getha better understanding of the changes which we feel, but also are able to better meet the challenges of modern living.

,,-av' Our library is often recog- nized as a place for study, but for the students devoting their Study halls to working there, it is also a Training ground. The materials to be found include such items as microfilm, the Wall Street Journal, Look, 1984, Ro- meo and Juliet, and various books in foreign languages. English As he grows in knowledge, the student must find a means by which he can effectively communicate his ideas to others. The use of his native language can be perfected with the aid of a variety of courses. ln his required English classes, he not only reviews grammatical basics, but studies the works of those who have mastered them, and tries his own hand at writing. He -can elect a course of Drama, Journalism or Speech. As a freshman, he may be enrolled in one of the three experimental two-hour courses of basic language skills. malt
