ACKNOWLEDGMENT Another school year draws to a close, and with its close, another issue of the yearbook rolls off the presses and into the hands of its subscribers. Within the pages of the book are many memories, some pleasant, some better forgotten. And so comes the time to thank the many people responsible for your year- book . . . people who saw to it that the book appears as it does. First of all, my thanks go to each and every member of the yearbook staff. Everyone carried out his assignments, some on time, and some a wee bit late, but doing his work well. Phyllis, my assistant editor, helped in editing copy and work- ing to meet deadlines. Dave and Bonnie, the business managers, did a fine job of handling the finances, as Well as the editing and typing of copy. Suzanne was an outstanding advertising manager, seeing that our advertising pages were set up, bills sent out, and financial records kept. Angie, as circulation manager, did a little bit of everything-subscriptions, copy, mounting, proofreading. Gary, our sports editor, filled the position quite capably. Carol and Eileen, the junior mem- bers, contributed greatly of their services Wherever needed. Mrs. jean W. Robinson, adviser, gave many suggestions and applied the pressure when we re- laxed a little too much. Thanks, too, must be given to James McWilliams, james L. Hoover, William Ruschel, and Chuck Tanner of Iahn and Ollier, Kurtz Bros., Ruschel Studio, and Hewett Studios respectively, for their cooperation and patience. To the faculty for their indispensable cooperation, to the advertisers and patrons, go a much appreciated thanks. Also, my thanks is extended to the Henry Ford Museum for furnishing us with pictures from their museum files-for use in our opening section. We are deeply indebted to the Observer Publishing Company for their per- mission to use illustrations as divider pages, and also for the many pictures we borrowed from them pertaining to the Sesquiceutennial.
