Principal l The proud history of our great high school is well portrayed each year by the Lens, a yearbook that is worthy of the traditions which it perpetuates. This year's Lens is an outstanding successor to the many yearbook publications which have preceded it. My sincere thanks and congratulations to the excellent and hard working staff which has produced the 1964 version of the Lens. It is a distinct privilege for me to be associated with Washington High School, its enthusiastic stu- dent body, its most excellent staff, and its traditions of outstanding accomplishments in all areas of student endeavors. May this excellence continue through the years so that graduates will always look back with nostalgic pride to their years as students of this distinguished school. 8 i I I MR.
