AV Walt Handbe ry Darwin l..el'me Bud Wetland Guy Stryker Charles Burk David Nelson Manage F I R E S Q U A D The Fire Squad is recognized as the most important safety element in our school system. The personnel is composed of students with faculty leaders, and its purpose is to evacuate the building swiftly and smoothly in the event of fire. Fire drills have undergone constant revision and planning during the past term, and much progress has been made in their execution. S T A G E C R E W Much of the credit for Washingtons successful season in drarnatics must be attributed to the efficiency and deft co-ordination of the men behind the scenes. The stage crew is as essential to any production as the performers, who take it for granted that sets will be changed quickly and that soundy effects will fall on cue. The integrity and ingenuity of the crew is available in every crisis. The senior class play and annual operetta are but two of the many pro- ductions that concede much of their success to the fine work of the stage crew. 7
