FACULTY A school cannot be judged by the building it occupies or the location on which it rests. It can only be judged by those who teach in it, and those who are taught. In this critical period of wartime where education is being stressed more and more, the demand for good teaching grows. Washington High School can be proud and thankful that it has such a fine staff of instructors to mould the minds of its students and to send them in the right direction. Our teachers have always given freely of their time to help any person who may be in doubt, or to further instruct those who are especially interested in any field. A sound education is the basis for a sound democracy, and we can only get such an education through competent, intelligent teaching. This is the kind of training that we are given at our school. Washington High's teachers are shaping our future lives, and they are shaping them well. The January '45 Class wishes to express to the Faculty our deepest gratitude and wishes you the best of luck after we are gone.
