When but a boy he could see in the future and made up his mind what he wanted to do when he grew up. But he also could see that he must prepare for it. So being a farmer boy, it was natural for him to Start raising stock. He kept this up while in grade sehool and high school, gradually building up his herd. Then came the time for him to enter College. His parents could have given him the money. But No- His father had started out without a cent and had been successful, so the lad decided that he could do the same. Until the last year at College he paid his own Way by doing odd jobs. He did most anything he could find to do and always had a job. In this way he had all the money he needed. During the last year the stock was sold so that he would not have to work. This was not done for any idle reason, but to enable him to carry three special courses, the diplomas for which lie is the proud possessor today.
