Mr. Claude Huyck, principal, dictates a letter to his secretary. One of the busiest men around Washington is Mr. Claude Huyck, principal. Mr. Huyck has many duties, each essential to the keeping of a well-run high school. Mr. Huyck is busy from the time he arrives at school until long after the 3 o'clock bell. During a day he may handle any duty, from trying to find a substitute for an ill teacher, to talking to a fellow member of the Adult Education committee. ln spite of Mr. Huyck's busy schedule he is also an active member of the Kansas City, Kansas, Kiwanis Club. The WHS principal is extremely interested in school activities and can usually be found at all school functions. these are the wheels Members of the Washington High School Board are, left to right, Mr. J.
