SEHIUH PlHU Each and every senior fell whole heartedly to the task of presenting one of the best plays ever given at W. H. S. When the class went out selling tickets to The Curious Savage everyone said Oh, an Indian play . But Mrs. Savage was not an Indian but a multi-million- hairess. When her husband died and left her with ten million dollars Mrs. Savage had many off ways of disposing with her fortune. Her three Step-children who themselves wanted the money had her committed to a sanitorium. Mrs. Savage finds the guests at The Cloisters , as the place was called, really more sensible than those of the Outside world. By a trick Mrs. Savage makes her three step-children seem as peculiar as she. As this play has shown the seniors prove that they are capable of serious moments as well as carefree ones. lHE UUHIUUS CHARAC TERS Dean Burton . Judy Tiderman. Howard Haines. Julie Maupin . The Junior Play Stardust directed by Miss Jo Ann Tindall, ran a magnificent two night stand in the High School auditoriumf Prudence Mason, a suc- cessful young Broadway actress was invited to star in a play put on by the Academy of Dramatic and Allied Arts. Her coming threw the whole academy into a state of false sophistication. Amid a toss up of Cleopatra costumes and black crepe paper decorations for a wedding, Jerry Flanagan a Hollywood talent scout and Claire Carter, Prudence's best friend tried to dissuade Pru from marrying a New York bank er, Arthur Scott Jr. After the academy student practically ran Pru off the stage on opening night, she finally broke off with Arthur to go to Hollywood where a former sweet- heart was waiting. Next year's senior play will be a great success if it is anything like this year's Junior play. Prudence Mason Claire Carter . Jerry Flanagan Mr. Bach , . Phil Ford , Janet Ross . . Miss De Fore .
