The 1982-1983 school year surprisingly started off with a very successful ASB sponsored HELLO DANCE which took place on the 10th of Sep¬ tember, 1982, at our very own WHS South Gym. The MUSIC MASTERS mobil sound system supplied the sounds. The dance hours ex¬ tended from 8-11 p.m., with a surprisingly large student turnout. The Class of 1983 showed off their well known class spirit by dressing up for the occasion; shorts, ties, blazers, tennis shoes and even so far as to look punk”. Though the ASB treasury did not make much money out of the dance, the profit lies in how much school spirit was displayed by the students here at WHS. And for those who weren ' t there, ... remember next year ... ii
