MARVIN PEIXOTO President PHIL ENCISO Vice-President PAULINE NICKAS Secretary LAVERNE HARVEY Treasurer THE SENIOR CLASS OF ' 48 On the evening of June 17, 1948, the commencement exercises were held for I 18 graduates of Washington Union High School. One of the first big events of the year for the seniors was the dedication of the football stadium on September 27, 1947. During the last semester the seniors were hosts to the eighth graders of Washington Township. The future freshmen were given an opportunity to visit various class rooms where demonstrations were presented. Other events during the year were senior nights and senior sneak day. Last and not forgotten senior week activities, breakfast, graduation and the all important senior ball. From the class of 1948 comes our wholehearted thanks to our advisers and to Pop for making possible four glorious years at W. U. H. S.
