“
We, the class of 1930, have digressed from the customary year book to a pictorial with faces rather than facts, as reminders of our happy years at Washington Union High School. This book is designed not to be primarily a work of art, but an interpretation of student life during the past year, showing the school spirit on the sports field and in the student body, as well as of the senior class. Action, group, and individual pictures were chosen to bring back memories of contests well fought, if not always won; to remind us of the numerous and varied activities our diverse groups have carried on outside the classroom; and to call to mind the friends with whom we have traveled the difficult road to learning. If, in years to come, it evokes dear memories, it will not have been born in vain. Four Mr. J. Vernon Goold, B. A.
