GIRLS' INTRAMURALS Nine homeroom teams competed for top honors in the girls' volleyball tournament. Senior homeroom Number One well earned the honor of being the winner. Basketball teams were composed of any six or more girls who wanted to play together as a team. Six teams entered the competition. The junior girls with co-captains Kay Rasmus and Jeanette Wester defeated the senior team with Lee Ann Anderson and Alice Julius as co-captains for the championship title. Other intramural sports included badminton, tennis, and ping pong. G. A. A. AND HONOR C PARTY November 17, 1953, was the night of the G.A.A. and Honor C all school costume party. The theme was The International Club and the Wilson gym was decorated with flags of che different countries and the students wore costumes to add reality to the occasion. The costumes were judged by Mr. and Mrs. Moe, Mr. Bohner, and Joan Keeline. Winners were James Hyde who received a gift certificate and Lorene Johnson who won an autograph book. A door prize gift certificate went to Elizabeth Gentry.

Seniors Juniors Sopbonzores 6. A. A. G.A.A. is our Girls' Athletic Association. In order to become a mem- ber, a girl must earn 100 points. Four points an hour are received for any girls' sport. Five points an hour are received if the activity is supervised. After the girl is initiated, she must make fifty points a semester in order to stay active. Awards are earned by acquiring points: 350 points for a numeralg 500 points for a letterg 750 points for a stripeg and 1000 points for the state G.A.A. pin. Faculty advisor is Miss Kirschbaum, physical education instructor. G. A. A.
