Washington High School is proud of the active leadership offered by our energetic Student Council. Many school improvements have been the result of the interest and effort produced by this organization. Various assemblies, the successful Bun- dle Drive, the “A” Card, and numerous other projects are fine examples of the accomplishments of our Student Council. The Student Council offers each student an opportunity to participate in the school’s program. The entire student body extends congratulations to the Student Council for its many contributions to Washington High School. 10

Zemel, Secretary; L. Steinhardt, President; D. Stewart, Vice President. The Key Club is a service club for boys in the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades of high school. The Key Club motto “We Build” means that the Key Club is building for justice, liberty, democracy, and a better world in which to live. The Key Club is not a mere organization but a driving force: developing the leadership for tomorrow while it creates a better high school today.
