WE SALUTE Mr. Minassian For many years, Harry Minassian has touched the lives of most of the members of the Class of ’53. It is likely our parents’ wedding pictures were taken at his studio. Dimpled babies on blankets, chunky, freckled youngsters clutching toys—all were recorded by his camera. In high school each year Mr. Minassian climbs ladders for an overhead shot of teams, clubs, or class groups, waits endlessly for temperamental pupils, or scales the bleachers for the long shot of a Twirling Corps formation. Of course, the pictures must be flattering, and he does his best, but there is always someone who complains about the proofs. The pictorial memories found in this yearbook are richer because of the untiring efforts of our yearbook photographer. It is to show our appreciation of his fine work and splendid cooperation that the editors of the 1953 Cache dedicate the present edition to Harry Minassian. { 4 y
