DEDICATION The class of 1952 is happy to dedicate this edition of the Cache to Miss Julia Meaker. During her thirty-nine years of service as a teacher in Washington High, she has taught classes in mathematics, English, history, and science. For the past three years she has served as principal of the high school, and it has been in this capacity that many of our class have come to know her best. No matter what the difficulty—a personal problem, a class or club project, a proposed innovation—Miss Meaker has always been willing to sit down, talk over the situation, and help us to arrive at a feasible solution. We have all had occasion to appreciate her fairness, her sense of humor, and her consideration for the individual. Thus, at the end of Miss Meaker’s active participation in the affairs of Washington High School, we, the Senior Class, should like to say “thank you” for all the good and wise things you have taught us and for all the wonderful memories you have given us. As we go forth together, we extend to you sincerest wishes for success and happiness in the years to come. -I 4 Y
