DEDICATION The class of 1946 dedicates this year's edition of the Cache to our janitors, George Lunger and Felix Smith. Every autumn Gippy” and Smitty” put up the snow fence and mark off the football field in preparation for the season’s games. At the first sign of cold weather they start the fires and keep them going until spring brings warm fair days. It may snow during the night, but by the time we students arrive, the walks are clean and the ice is sprinkled with ashes. Spring is heralded by the sound of the power mower which drifts through open windows. Every day by three o'clock, they can be seen cleaning classrooms and halls. Wc appreciate their unselfishness in giving up some of their few free hours in the evening so that wc may hold dances and other school activities. Wherever and whenever help is needed, be it a refractory locker or a non-cooperative shade, the call goes out for Smitty” and Gippy.” Despite all our demands on them, they greet us always with a smile and friendly word. In fact, we feel that Mr. Lunger and Mr. Smith are an indispensable part of our school and our school life, and we take this opportunity to tell them publicly of our appreciation. Cip in action'. Could this be heaven? George Lunger Felix Smith
