THORA LQUISE KERLING Y1ppee Favorite Expression: Oh! the pity of it all. Curriculum: General 'Yippee' is a top notch dancer. Harry James' music is sure to entrance her. Thora's favorite pastime is dancing. She can always be found on some dance floor hitting it solid. Music, it seems, is right down her alley because she also likes to sing. There never seems to be a gray sky in Yippee's horizon, and with that outlook on life we are sure she will succeed in whatever she does. Activities: Outdoor Club I. II. IV: Glee Club I. WILLIAM IOI-IN KIMBLE Bill Favorite Expression: Holy Smoke Curriculum: General Bill a poultryman will be, for many hens he has you see, Now hens lay eggs, and these he'lI sell and in this work he'll do right well. Bill, too, is a sports fan, he especially follows the doings of our streaks He is one of the future farmers learning how to do scientific farming. Activities: Boys' Night I, II, III, IV: Hall Sentinel III, IV: F. F. A. I, II, III, IV. READ KINGSBURY I-'avorite Expression: Anything's possible. Curriculum: College Preparatory Read Kingsbury is the class answer man. Ask him anything, and tell you he can. Speaking of All-American, Read can qualify to this title in more ways than one. He has been a pillar of blue Streak and Student Council and has played in the orchestra. Besides this, he has proved himself to be an actor of ability as the absent-minded professor, with a driving ambition to find the Elixir of Youth, he had them in the aisles in the Junior Play. Then, he scored allain as the scientific college student in the Senior Play. Read's chief ambition is to be a journalist and we know he'll succeed. Activities: Blairstown High School--Student Cabinet I, Il: Assistant Editor School Paper II: Press Club I, II: Orchestra II: Baseball Manager I: Intramural Soccer. Basketball. Softball I. Washington High School-f-'Student Council III, IV. President IV: Fire Patrol III, IV: Traffic Squad IV: Assistant Editor Blue Streak III, Business Manager IV: Orchestra III: Band III: Ushers' Club III, IV: Operetta III: Arista I, III. MAURICE LAWYER Red Curriculum: General Agriculture Red was a lineman, many plays did he smear, On the mats his opponents would tremble in fear. Red is an athlete who stood out as one of the best tackles in Washington High's recent football history. He also deserves praise for his wrestling ability. He loves to hunt and fish, specially around Oxford. Red is now in the U. S. Army and we wish him a lot of luck. Activities: Assembly Programs I. III: Football I.
