DYWAN - Treasi F BOARD OF EDUCATION During March of this school year, the state legisloture passed a bill which resulted tn the dissolving of our elected school board and the appointment of a new board. The new law stated that all cities with a population of thirty-four to fifty-five thousand people shall have a board of five members appointed by the mayor. Our youth work together in the shops and home economics laboratories. They play together on our playfields and in the gymnasiums. Here Washington youth learn to live together in the fin- est tradition of American civilization.
