He has set up fine standards for all students to follow. We are truly fortunate to have such a man for the principal of our school. Page Five

Page Four DEDICATION CLYDE E. KELLAM The passing of this year marks the retirement oi Mr. Clyde E. Kellam who has served twenty-nine years as a teacher at Washington High School. His patience, excellent counseling, and his outstanding teaching ability will be missed by all. His leaving creates a vacancy that will be hard to fill. Mr. Kellam received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University and his Master's degree from the- University oi Chicago. He taught two and oneehalf years at McKinley school before coming to Washington in 1923. In addition to his duties of teaching, Mr. Kellam acted as Dean of Boys and Assistant Principal. He has very ably carried out both jobs. We graduating seniors shall always remember Mr. Kellam. not only for the education we have received from him, but also for the friendship and guidance he has given us.
