Dedication What is more typical of American life than the circus? Each new year we step into the rink of Life to give our performance with each of us playing an individual role In this book the Sen iors of Washington High School unfold thelr achievements tr1 umphs and endeavors throughout the four years of hugh school in which each student enacted his individual role to bring about a completed performance The main show in this year of warfare was still the good old on physical frtness than in former years The sxde shows includ ed the usual extra currrcular activities that make for a varied curr1culum Our newest srdeshow born out of a world at war is the com mrttees lending aid to the all out war effort of the Washmgton School As this class of 1945 goes out to Join another circus w1th a much larger arena the underclassmen stand ready to play the next performance and ring up a new curtain on the interesting play called Life It is frtting therefore that this review of one performance be dedicated to all past and future perfomances to the circus of American Lrfe f I . standby of reading, writing, and arithmetic, with more emphasis
