Mrs. Holmes, prin-' cipal of the West school, has been in the local system as a teacher since 1917. Mrs. Holmes was born in Cairo, Ill., and graduated from high school there. She started her tenching career in the school at Birds Mill, Mo., in 1907. After six years at that school, she com- pleted her work for a bachelor of arts degree at Hills-dale college and came into the Albion school School was over this afternoon for Alhion's 2.200 pupils below the senior class level. In the various grade schools, picnics were held between eleven a. ln. and one, D. in. today. Then the pupils returned to their rooms for clean up periods and ch:-rs will complete their records flv- receiving of report cards. Tea-I Friday.
