Now we are engaged in our final act as a class - that of receiving our diplomas - - an honor we have all looked forward to for many years. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should be proud of ourselves. But in a larger sense . . . Y . t-tff.-um-:-ref-.H Y .0 ! . . V7 . . . we cannot take all the credit - we cannot say we did it alone - our parents and instructors who backed us have helped us far above our capability to ever repay them. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remain- ing before us - that we take increased devotion to that cause for which we have given our all. That we highly resolve that we shall not have studied in vain - that we take with us the know- ledge we have gained and bring forth nurses whose love for humanity shall not perish from this earth. xg wat:-,XQN-tg ,M ' fi' Q fall! cl- . Therefore, it is only natural that yesterday's laws and traditions may not be appropriate for today or tomorrow. Young people rebel most about inadequate or unsuitable rules. Inevitably someone protests. Attempts to change rules make news stories daily. Here in our school we have found a way to change rules and yet maintain law and order in our dormitory and school life. Through our Student Government Association we formulate rules for living and set standards for conduct: it is also through our S. G. A. that rules and requirements are changed. Students learn to channel protests to proper officials. Peacefully the faculty and students formulate a plan for education and dormitory living. E 5 ' gaafwl 'KN ROW ONE FROM LEFT: L. Oland, M. Wm 20 Wugdt- Vac. 7, Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowthg Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wearg Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. 2050141 '7w4z' -5 ' 7 14:5 fl X wif fi x Nj cf '7 ye, Q if 1, S tl XS-I SI .1 1 - 1 - - -- . - - . . , ' M -3' 1 , :. ii if ' vi I ' vffn ' f- ,,.'.I...1..g gm fx .'
