,jf , -lx Y ai. r I The purpose of the Student Nurse's Council of Maryland is to aid in the development and growth of the individual student, which will prepare her for membership and partici- pation in the American Nurse's Association. S. N.C.M. is the pre-professional organiza- tion which serves as the channel of communication between student nurse organizations and the A.N.A. and the N. L. N. The Student Nurse's Council of Maryland along with the student associations from the forty-nine states comprise the National Student Nurse's Asso- ciation which provides a close bond and a unified spirit among student nurses in the United States of America and throughout the world. We were proud at the 1969 state convention to have Brenda Day, a W.C.H. student, chosen as Student Nurse of the Year.
