The Hoo-Wair-N-Wai The Hoo-Wair-N'Wat was first started by the girls of '23, when, with the help of the other students, they published several successful numbers through the Morning Herald. Last year, finding that thc former plan of publication was not altogether satisfactory, the girls of the four classes from Broadway successfully edited monthly, a separate four page paper. This year, with a view towards the union of Broadway and Surrey, the Hoo-Wair'N-Wat became a Co-ed Paper. The staff has accomplished its one object-that of editing a peppy, six page paper. It even went so far as to make one number a f'SurpI'ise Issue of fourteen pages, featuring a two page pictorial section, several cross-word puzzles, and a number of good cuts. During the Hoo-Wair-N-Wat's three years' existence it has been financed by funds obtained from the proceeds of a candy sale, the Bo4I'eep Tea Room. a lunch stand at the Fairground, subscriptions, and advertisements.
