Boys' Basketball Review The review of our past basketball season will not impress the casual ob- server as being entirely successful but there are many important factors which helped to bring forth a rather unsuccessful season, and which, unfortunately, will not in all cases be taken into a consideration when the observer is looking over the scores. At the outset, the team was handicapped by not having a hall where they could practice regularly and privately. The Y. M. C. A. has a fine court is inaccessible to the High School team for permanent practice. It is true t most of the team members belong to gym classes and in that way secure the benefit of the large court but they do not, and have not in the past, ha chance to practice as a team. Everyone who claims to be a critic of spo knows that members of a team must work together in practice if they are work together when they are on the floor in a regular game. It is generally held that until the High School has a court which they can use all of the time that it cannot hope to turn out teams of the calibre that it ought to. The members of the squad this year deserve commendation for showing their good spirit in face of difticulties. Their spirit of sportsmanship has run higher than ever. this year and it is hoped that the better standard will maintained. We wish to extend our thanks to Coach Osha for his untiring efforts behalf of our team. Nam-:s1'lloul, Basketball Schedule and Results Central High, Washington, D. C. ......... Dec. McKinley Tech..
