Though w, may have been the source of consternation to our instructors and objects ol derision for the upper classmen, we soon dispelled these delusions. For after a few months of accustoming ourselves to the routine of our new sphere, we shed our mantles of green. We demonstrated our athletic prowess by the boys' capturing the Intr- Class basketball cup. As every successful expedition needs its guides, so we, for our leaders, chose as President, Fred McSherryg Vice-President, Catherine Miller, Secre- tary, Mae Angle, Treasurer, Raymond Schwinger, Asst. Treasurer, Lucille Burner. As a fitting conclusion of our first year of ardent labor we held a picnic at Braddock Heights. But, alas, rain proved to be the dispoiler of o.ir anticipated pleasures. After a season of appreciated diversion we reassembled to renew our tasks. But we missed the name of a comrade, familiar, dear, Charles Humel- sine, who in death hath achieved his victory. As reveille sounds at the dawn of our third season of conquest we Find many among the missing and vanquished. Our prayer goes out to them for fairer fortunes in future affairs. Every previous year we have contributed a fine representation of contest- ants in the various fields of extra curricular activities. We are ever striving to make, as an incentive to our successors, every en- deavor, a field of conquest, every goal, an illustrious triumph. Fiflp-fam'
