l i MR. BRIGHAM Mr. Brigham is known to be iocular, and fair-minded, with the students of W.C.H.S. He is kidded about being short in stature, but we all know he is mighty in leader- ship. He teaches physics and general science. He at- tained his Bachelors Degree at lllinois Wesleyan and his Masters Degree at the Uni- versity of lllinois. MR. BURTON Mr. Burton, chemistry and plane geometry teacher, has a B.A. from Eureka College and is working on his Mas- ters degree at Normal. He likes to bowl in his spare time. MRS. ANDREWS Mrs. lrma Andrews teaches Latin and Social Studies at W.C.H.S. and is highly re- spected by the student body. Her pleasing manner and calm, understanding attitude makes her an asset to our school. She is a 'lover of good books and a capable ibrary Director. She re- ceived her B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin. MR. ASHBROOK The young sociable man who teaches mechanical drawing at W.C.H.S. is none other than Mr. Ashbrook. He is well liked by all, as he is patient and understanding with his students. He is an important fi ure in our facu- lty. Mr. Asibrook received his Bachelors Degree in Education at lllinois State Normal University. FAC MISS CASPERSON ln charge of the Spanish De- partment is Miss Casperson. She teaches first and sec- ond year Spanish and also English l classes. Besides servin as advisor to the Spanish Club, Miss Casper- son is Assistant Junior Class Advisor. She received her A.B. Degree from Knox in Education. MISS EBERT Miss Ebert has charge of shorthandand typingclasses. She received her B.S. in Ed- ucation at lllinois State Normal University. Graduate work was taken at Denver University where she ob- tained o Masters degree in Business Education. The Panther staff keeps Miss Ebert busy as advisor.

GOLDEN BABCOOK 'Goldie', the assistant principal and mathe- matics teacher of W.C.H.S., received his B.A. from Bradley and has just about completed work on his Master's from Colorado State Teachers College. His fI'iel1dlY Gnd SiI1CeI'e attitude has made him a favorite with both students and faculty. MRS. LA VONE HETT Whenever ahelping hand is needed or a friend- ly smile wanted, La Vone Hett is always ready and willing. As school secretary, she iskept busy running errands and doing favors. Thanks for a big iob well done.

MISS HAGER Teaching bookkeeping and freshman English is Miss Hager. This is her first year of teaching as she just re- ceived her Bachelors Degree from Illinois State Univer- sity in l954. ULTY MISS HEITHOLD Having the iob of conducting all the girls P.E. classes is Miss Heithold. She also teaches general science. All G.A.A. activities are super- vised by Miss Heithold. She received her education at Western State Teachers College. At this time she is studying at Normal Univer- sity on a Masters Degree in Physical Education. MISS MORRISSEY Miss Morrissey has taught Latin l and Sophomore Eng- lish during her first year at WCHS. She graduated from Illinois State Normal with a BacheIor's Degree. MR. JOHNSTON Mr. Johnston teaches Civics and U.S. history. He has been a great help to the Student Council as their ad- visor. He also coaches the Junior Varsity teams in Football and Basketball. He received both a Bachelor and a Master Degree, when he graduated from Bradley University. MRS. HIRSCH Mrs. Hirsch is the junior and senior play director for our school. She works very hard on them and they have all been a success. Her favorite pastimes are swimming and olfing. She got her Bache- lIor's Degree at Eureka College and is teaching Senior English and speech. .1 MR. MATSON Mr. Matson is kept quite busy with teaching Junior English-besides being the WaCoHi advisor and driving one ot the school buses. He graduated from Bradley Uni- versity with both Bachelor and Master Degrees. He en- ioys Jazz Records. J I l,r . 1
