,f , ff Dear Diary, We Sophomores entered school this year still remembering our unforgetable experiences from our freshman year. We re-elected Tom Adams as our president with Tom Hexamer, vice-president, Gretchen Zeigler, secretary, and Annette Esser, treasurer as his assistants. Our student council members were Marilyn Simpson, Don Messmer, and Carl Cherrie. Mrs. Hirsch, our adviser, readily helped us whenever we called upon her. Homecoming arrived and we elected Gretchen Zeigler as our candidate for Queen. We built our float with the theme 'Dragnet. Our first class event was a Halloween party with games and refreshments. Another class party was planned for later in the year. Although we all worked hard on our assembly, we had a lot of fun. Many of our Sophomore boys participated in football, basketball, and baseball. Eight sopho- mores were on the basketball squad. Now we are looking forward to our next two years at WCHS and hoping to have as much fun as we have had in our previous two years. LZ
