Dear Diary, To start out on the right foot the junior Class elected its officers. The class picked Coral Ackerman as president and Norma Van Scyoc as vice-president. For secretary we chose Betty Peck and Connie Aberle was elected treasurer. These officers did a good job managing the class and we tip our hats to them. After electing these officers we chose Joyce David, Bev Smith, and Robert Skaggs to represent us in the Student Council. With Homecoming just around the corner, we decided to elect our candidate for queen. Pat Haas was chosen for that honor and although she didn't become queen, she still was a member of her court. Pat was escorted to the Homecoming Dance by her brother, Tom. The theme .for our float was, 'Duz.we win,' 'Vel I guess,' 'The Tide has turned,' and 'Lux with us.' Our float placed third. The next big project ofthe junior Class was our play, 'The Inner Willy.' It was a very humor- ous comedy and we owe its success to the very capable direction of Mrs. Hirsch and also to the many committees that helped her. The last big event of our junior Year was the junior-Senior Prom. We attribute its success to our class adviser, Mr. Brigham. He has helped us in all our projects and we are greatly indebted to him for his help in organizing the different com- mittees and seeing that we made it through our hardships. Most of the money needed to put on the junior-Senior Prom came from the junior Play and the concession stands at the football and basketball games. The junior Class wishes to thank each and everyone that helped to make the numerous pro- jects of the year successful. Plum
