FORWARD The presses roll, sending out the comic strip, that newspaper section that holds appeal for all ages. The desire of the 1943 Wacohi staff is that this yearbook may be enjoyed as much as and treasured more than the comic strip. Illust- raging the escapades of today's teen ager are the everyday occurrences in the funnies. The readers of the colored sec- tion avidly follow each day's doings of their heroes and heroines and look forward to the next exciting episodes.Simi- larly, the W. C. H. S. students find each school day's events absorbing and enjoyableg yet they know they are mere preludes to a stream of happenings which await each individual when high school work is ended. As the funnies afford pleasure, may the 1943 Wacohi bflng V00 keen enjoyment and serve as a record or reminder of a precious era in your life which you won't wish to forget Page 5
