'lFlHllE JllUNllUlPt CLASS You ask about that first day of school for the 56 Pullman riders? Well, one thing l know, it was a confused mumble-mumble of greetings, and people trying to find other people, and my not being able to find our newly-elected secretary, Marilyn Martini. Richard Meyer, our president, Virginia Hallam, our vice-president, and George Herbst, our treasurer, were auite easily found, if l remember correctly, but in that long line of Pullmans l had to let Mr. Brigham, our personal conductor, find our lovely but disappearing secretary. Then LeRoy Smith called for the assistant firemen, otherwise known as council members, Pat Birkett, Willie Davis, and Donald Stoetzel-whom we barely got elected in time to go to work. That caused quite a stir for a while, then we got a telegram for Ramona our candidate for Homecoming Queen. Some one was sending her a telegram congratulating her. She wouldnt tell us who it was but we could make some good guesses. I guess that was about all we did that first day as if that didnt give me enough gray hairs Oh ld almost forgottenl We did agree that we would have to feed those lazy seniors in the spring and also let the townspeople have their glimpse of culture by viewing our play sometime in November l guess it was at this time that we decided to allow our fellow riders to bring glory to the school as in the past in sports music and scholastic achievements Then we settled back into our luxurious plusln seats to continue merrily on through the wondrous land of Higher Educationovia Dale Mason Barbara McKinney Richard Meyer lack Morgan Clarence Parks Roberta Parr Lyle Pfefftnger Iackle Roehm Alta Schertz Mary Schlobohm Lillian Scholes Robert Schroen Alice Schuck Paul Schwarzentraub Ieanne Shlpley Eugene Slmpson Mary Lee Smith Marjorie Sprague George Somers Don Stoetzel Yvonne Vogelsang Connie Watters Iody Weaver Betty Wenger 1: QQ 44 bb bd' 'E' as
