FOUNDED 1782 WASHINGTON COLLEGE CHESTERTOWN, MARYLAND PRESIDENT ' S OFFICE Dear Class of 1958, The 1957 - 1958 school year has been a special one for all of us at Washington College and particularly for you Seniors. The special events of the 17 5th Anniversary celebration last fall cast a special glow over the entire academic year. You are proud, I know, to realize that 175 years ago this spring the college graduated its first class. The preceding four years have been a rich educational experience for each of you, perhaps more so than you realize at this time. I trust that the years ahead of you will be far more productive and rewarding because of the time you spent on the hill. As seniors you are not saying goodbye to Washington College -- just ' til we meet again. Do not let your sense of belonging here languish. Come back often.
