Scene: Time: 4th hour Janice: Margaret: Janice: Jerry: Janice: Class Meeting, Room 7 Miss Jones has asked me to review some of the things that have happened to the freshman class. I think I have a better idea. lwill call on some of you to tell what you think was important during the school year 51-52. First let's have Margaret. Margaret, what did you think was important? The first thing that comes to my mind are the clubs the boys and girls can belong to. For the girls there is the Pep Club, F. H, A, , and Y-Teen. Most of the freshman girls belonged to these clubs. The boys have the F, F, A, and Hi-Y. There were a number of freshman boys in each. Thank you, Margaret. Jerry, can you tell something you thought was important? The boys have athletics that they can go out for. Most of the boys went out for football. All the boys in physical education went out for basketball. Baseball and track found the freshman class well represented. Thank you, Jerry. Mary Ellen, do you have something to say? Mary Ellen: I might add that the freshman class started with thirty-three members and has gained four members. We took one of the Honor Banners each nine week period. Janice: Thank you, Mary Ellen. None of us will forget the freshman class picnic! We all had plenty to eat and had lots of fun, especially Miss Jones and Mr. Cookson. Julie: Mr. President, Imove these remarks be recorded by the secretary as part of the permanent record of the class. Larry: I second the motion. Arthur: That is an excellent idea. Those in favor? Carried unanimously. Spotlight on WESTWOOD DRUG 2612 W. 17th Motion of adjournment is now in order, 13
