The Washburn Administration has done a fantastic job in maintaining unity of faculty and students within the school. Donald Burton, who came to us in the middle of the 1982-83 school year from the Administration of the Minneapolis Public Schools, has proven to be a creative and energetic principal. David King, new this year from Sanford Junior High School, was an important addition to the Administrative staff. Dear Class of ’84 You have reached a significant crossroad of life. Your class should feel proud of its accomplishments at Washburn. As individuals your choice of which road to take has probably been made and you can gain from your past as you push on into the future. The word that best describes the class of ’84 is confidence, confidence in yourself, and what is more important, confidence in each other. Don’t ever lose this important characteristic as it will serve you well for the rest of your life. As you look through your Yearbook it will brirfg back many pleasant memories.
