Social Studies Many benefit from the strong Social Studies Department. Beginning in ninth grade Civics, students are taught about the make up of our government. In tenth grade they move on to World History to learn the sequence of events in this area. As students enter their junior year, they are taught issues of U. S. History. Senior year, the most trying one, is when students take Government, Economics, and Current Issues. ROW 1: M. Boardman. L. Hopson ROW 2: R. Cersine, D. Strickland. G. Simonson ROW 3: M. Myers. G.
