Also, we co-hosted a Christ- mas party with FBLA. 20 ANNUAL STAFF This year many people spent their free hours working on the 1979 Yearbook to make it the best one yet to be published at Washburn High. We hope that you will like your Year- book and always look back in it and remember the happy memories of your high school years. We would like to thank Mr. William Eskola for providing us with needed pic- tures, and also a special “Thank You” to Edith Merila who helped the photography Club. First Row (I to R). The chapter sold candy bars all year and also made money selling from a gift items catalog, raffles, bake sale, etc. For our service project we helped out at our local Halloween Party. The chapter had a combined Christ- mas party with our high school's FHA and Photography Club. r i N « EN terprise FOCUS 25 FBLA (FAYE — BLA?) Do Not Follow Where The Path Leads, Rather, Go Where There Is No Path And Leave A Trail 85 um QWi.L AND WHAT DO WE REMEMBER’ We looked back and remembered the happy times, feeling the rewards of hard work and dedication. At other times we felt all alone, isolated in the midst of a crowd. Our existence was one of constant new beginnings ond con- tinuous endings that filled our lives and our memories. It was our year, molded by the vast and diverse character of who we were and had become! 86 Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it within us or we find it not.
