Mr. Lavern Basina We the Senior Class of 1977 proudly dedi- cate this year's Chequamegon Annual to someone who has been a fantastic adviser for the past four years and to a group of people who deserve much more - Mr. Lavern Basina and our parents. Mr. Basina became our adviser when we were Freshmen. He saw us through a car wash that year, he also managed to pull us through selling Tom Watt Kits when we were Sopho- mores; he stuck behind us through Homecom- ing and Prom: and even as we prepared for graduation, we found him giving all the help and support he possibly could. When we look back on our high school years. I'm sure we’ll not only remember Mr. Basina as our adviser and of all the activities he helped us through but rather for his outstanding personality, his smile, and his friendliness. It seems impossible to know how to start or even where to start thanking our parents for everything they've done for us. How do you thank someone for all the love, protection, and security they've given you. saying thank- you just doesn’t seem like enough. This year the Seniors are dedicating the annual also to our parents to express a very small amount of our appreciation and gratitude.
