People are what make up the memories of our high school years. For the seniors, this year is possibly the last one we will be together as a group. It should be remembered as a very imponant year and a very good year. Washburn High has a great faculty and we have them to thank for the education they have provided us with, along with out principal and superintend- ent. The students themselves are what make Washburn High what it is and this yearbook represents everyone. The yearbook staff has worked hard to put together this year's book of memories. Thanks to all of them, the photographer, and our advisor for all the help. This year stu- dents submitted designs for our yearbook cover. We would like to thank all who took the time to do so, espe- cially Keith Swanson whose design was chosen. Qetu tS Dedicafojfie, We, the Senior Class of 1975, proudly dedicate this annual to two people who mean a lot to us: Mr. Mike Murray, and Miss Anona Nelson. Both of them have taken a great interest in our class and we'd like them to know how much we appre- ciate it. Mr. Murray stepped in as our class advisor our Junior year, and since then he has done a lot to help and support our class. We would like to thank him for what he’s done for us. Mr. Murray was born August 2, 1948, in Fre- deric, Wis. He graduated from Webster High School with the class of 1966. In 1970 he married Carol Gannon. They now have three kids: Nicole - 4 years old: Trisha - 3 years old; and Mike, Jr. - 2 years old. Mr. Murray graduated from the University of Superior in 1973 with a Broad Area Major in Music. He was active in a jazz-rock group while attending school and after gradua- tion. 4
